Money and Tax

The salary tax calculator Pakistan page applies the FBR slabs for tax year 2027, which runs from July 2026 to June 2027. We took the slabs from the Income Tax Ordinance as amended up to 30 June 2026. The tool shows tax per month, tax per year and take home pay.

The zakat calculator works out 2.5% of your net zakatable wealth. It checks that wealth against the silver nisab of 52.5 tola or the gold nisab of 7.5 tola. Enter amounts in rupees or any other currency.

Property and Plot Size

Plot sizes in Pakistan are sold in marla and kanal, and the marla is not the same everywhere. The marla to square feet converter lets you pick 225 or 272.25 square feet per marla. A kanal is always 20 marla, so check which marla your housing society uses before you compare prices.

Students and Admissions

The UAF CGPA calculator follows the quality point table published by the UAF Controller of Examinations. Generic letter scales from other sites give wrong answers for UAF, so this tool turns marks into quality points course by course.

For medical admissions, the MDCAT aggregate calculator uses the Punjab admission policy for session 2026-27. MDCAT counts 50%, FSc 40% and Matric 10%. It also shows the MDCAT marks you need for a target merit.

Family and Inheritance

The Islamic inheritance calculator divides an estate by the Quranic shares of the Hanafi school, which most Sunni families in Pakistan follow. It handles the residue, awl and radd and shows each heir's amount in rupees.

Pakistan law adds one rule of its own. Under the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961, children of a son or daughter who died first take their parent's share. The tool does not model grandchildren, so speak to a lawyer in that case.

How We Keep These Pakistan Calculators Current

Pakistani rules change on a fixed rhythm. Tax slabs change with the federal budget each June, and medical merit formulas change with each admission policy. We recheck those sources every cycle and update the tool and its page together.

  • Salary tax: checked against the FBR ordinance after each June budget.
  • MDCAT aggregate: checked against the admission policy each admission season.
  • Zakat, marla, UAF and inheritance: the rules are stable, and we recheck them when a visitor reports a problem.

If a calculator Pakistan users rely on gives an answer that looks wrong, tell us through the contact page. We reproduce the case, fix it and note the change.
