What Morse Code Is

Numbers follow a neat pattern of five signals each. Dots fill from the left for 1 to 5 and dashes take over for 6 to 0. That pattern is easy to learn.
Punctuation
The tool also covers common punctuation such as the period, comma, question mark, brackets and the @ sign. Characters with no Morse code, such as emoji, are skipped and listed under the result. Accented letters are not part of the standard set.
Morse Code Timing
Morse code depends on rhythm as much as on symbols. One dot is the basic unit of time. Every other length is a multiple of it.

- The gap between words is 7 units.
