About CalculatorsSpot
Last updated: October 2026
CalculatorsSpot is a free collection of online calculators and everyday tools for finance, health, math and general use. Every tool runs in your browser, so the numbers you type stay on your own device. We built the site because many calculators online are hard to read or do not explain how they reach their answers.
Who We Are
CalculatorsSpot was started by two founders who wanted calculators that are quick, clear and honest about their limits.
Ali Rajput
Founder
Ali designs the tools and turns each formula into working code. Ali is a software developer who also writes technical articles about trading software for MQL5.com, so careful number handling is part of daily work. Ali decides which calculators we build next and approves every release.
Habib ur Rehman
Co-founder
Habib helps plan the site and choose the tools people ask for most. Habib also looks at new calculators from a visitor's point of view before they go live and reports anything that feels unclear or wrong.
What We Build
The site has 59 calculators and converters in four groups. Finance tools include the loan EMI calculator, the mortgage calculator and the compound interest calculator. Health tools include the BMI calculator, the calorie calculator and the age calculator. Math tools cover percentages, fractions, probability and GPA, while general tools include a password generator, a QR code generator and a unit converter.
How We Test Our Calculators
Every calculator goes through the same checks before we publish it and again whenever we change it.
- Worked examples: We run each formula against examples with known answers, such as textbook problems and figures from official sources.
- Edge cases: We try zero, empty fields, negative numbers, very large values and decimals, so the tool shows a clear result or a dash instead of a wrong number.
- Units and rounding: We check conversions by hand, such as pounds to kilograms and inches to meters, and we confirm that rounding follows the rule stated on the page.
- Phones and desktops: We open every tool on a small phone screen and on a desktop browser to check the layout, the keyboard and the results.
- Method on the page: Each page states the formula or method it uses, so you can check the answer yourself.
When a visitor reports a mistake, we reproduce it, fix it and run the same checks again.
Where Our Formulas Come From
Health tools follow ranges published by public health bodies. The BMI page links to the World Health Organization and the CDC so you can read the originals. Loan and mortgage tools use the standard amortization formula that lenders use. The currency converter uses daily reference rates that may differ from the rate your bank offers.
Why People Use CalculatorsSpot
- Private by design: Calculations happen inside your browser, so your figures never leave your device.
- Free: No subscriptions, no paywalls and no signup forms.
- Built for phones: The pages are designed to work on smartphones, tablets and desktop computers alike.
Limits of Our Tools
Results are estimates for general use. They are not financial, medical or legal advice, and they do not replace a qualified professional. You can read the full disclaimer for details.
